The Junction Rivers pilot Community Benefit Fund is investing in the community development initiatives that matter to local people.
Following our call for applications in February, we received proposals for a wide range of initiatives and projects, reflecting the creativity and commitment of local community groups.
After a careful assessment process, Junction Rivers is pleased to be supporting six capacity building initiatives with funding:
- Goodnight BBQ and Recreational Reserve - BBQ and lighting upgrades
- Balranald Early Learning Centre Inc – let us play rain or shine
- Kyalite Fishing and Sporting Club – Fishing Classic assistance and riverfront development
- Far West LHD Balranald Health Service – residents’ lounge refurbishment
- Kyalite Progress and Recreation Reserve Association – village raw water supply feasibility study
- St Joseph’s Primary School Balranald – annual Christmas community fete
We look forward to delivering these in partnership with the community.
