Following our call for applications in February, we received proposals for a wide range of initiatives and projects, reflecting the creativity and commitment of local community groups.

After a careful assessment process, Junction Rivers is pleased to be supporting six capacity building initiatives with funding:

• Goodnight BBQ and Recreational Reserve - BBQ and lighting upgrades
• Balranald Early Learning Centre Inc – let us play rain or shine
• Kyalite Fishing and Sporting Club – Fishing Classic assistance and riverfront development
• Far West LHD Balranald Health Service – residents’ lounge refurbishment
• Kyalite Progress and Recreation Reserve Association – village raw water supply feasibility study
• St Joseph’s Primary School Balranald – annual Christmas community fete
